About Barefoot Storytelling
Barefoot Storytelling celebrates the oral tradition of storytelling for children and adults alike, bringing a treasure trove of folktales to life with lots of improvisation and audience participation.
To join in with Barefoot Storytelling, all you need to bring is your imagination…

Most of the stories I tell are based on tales from within the pages of Barefoot Books. Indeed, these gorgeous, award-winning children’s books are truly my inspiration and are what led me to discover my talent as a storyteller.
I tell tales at a variety of venues including:
- The Bath Festival of Children’s Literature
- The Egg, Theatre Royal, Bath
- museums (Building of Bath Museum; No 1 The Royal Crescent)
- libraries throughout Wiltshire (Corsham Library – Dads & Kids Club)
- local schools
- local Children’s Centres, nurseries & pre-schools
- arts centres
- Woolley Grange Hotel
- children’s birthday parties
